Through handmade cards filled with Scripture, encouragement, and gratitude, we’ll remind them that they’re not forgotten—and that they are covered in prayer. The BeHeard mission is to use soul work and social work to benefit the community, businesses, and those experiencing homelessness. This year for Love Day we will be serving at their Mobile Drop-In Center: which includes cleaning showers, assisting with laundry, managing the clothing trailer, sorting clothing, or spending time with guests. On Love Day, we’ll roll up our sleeves and head out to serve the amazing staff and students at Berryhill Schools through a variety of meaningful projects that will beautify and improve their campus. Whether you’re handy with tools or just willing to lend a hand, there’s a place for everyone. Projects will include:

-Building a couple bridges
-Refreshing flower beds and landscaping
-Powerwashing entry areas
-and other small tasks!

We’ll provide some tools, but if you have the following, please bring them along: gloves, rakes, loppers, shovels, hammers, screw guns, prybars and brooms. If you're a carpenter, tradesperson, or have construction experience, we especially need your skills (and tools) for building a bridge!

Blankets with a Purpose is a COTM Group that meets every other month to make hand-tied fleece blankets for families in crisis. For Love Day, the project will be to make blankets and to collect (new) supplies for Domestic Violence Intervention Services (DVIS). Blankets will also go to St. Francis Children's Hospital. Bright Rooms, Bright Futures

We’re helping C.A.R.D. Head Start Center gets a fresh new look! Our team will paint classrooms for teachers and Pre-K students, creating bright, colorful spaces where kids can learn, grow, and feel loved.

City Lights has a goal to bring hope, dignity, and restoration through relationships to our homeless community underneath a bridge here in downtown Tulsa. For this project, we will serve a hot meal, bring out tables and chairs for sitting and meeting, and then working multiple stations with different resources for our friends. Location: Maybelle Avenue and Reconciliation Way. Parking is available in the lot just west of Iron Gate off of Archer. Orientation starts at 6:30PM and the event should wrap up before 9PM. City Lights goal is to bring hope, dignity, and restoration through relationships to our homeless community. This Love Day, we want to support this ministry that is making a significant difference in the lives of people it serves on Thursday nights for Night Light Tulsa. This is an opportunity to build relationships with those experiencing homelessness and those in need. Having served this community for the past 12 years, City Lights Foundation believes that each person we meet has value and should be treated with dignity.

This Love Day serve will take place on Thursday, July 9, under the bridge at Maybelle Ave and Reconciliation Way starting at 6:15pm. The serve is open to everyone 14 years old and older.

Domestic Violence Intervention Services mission is to rebuild lives affected by domestic violence and sexual assault through advocacy, shelter, counseling, and education. This team cares for the plants, shrubs and flower beds by proactively applying mulch or fertilizer, pulling weeds, and trimming existing shrubs. No need to be a plant whisperer. If you desire to be outside and among friends we have a spot for you. All ages welcomed. Serve will begin at 9 AM.

Join us in serving local families by volunteering at Emergency Infant Services on Love Day! We’ll be helping in their warehouse—organizing donations, sorting supplies, and making sure everything is ready to go for the families they serve. The Refuge is where we have our 12-month residential recovery programs for men and women. We provide on-site counseling, mentoring, life skills training, work readiness, Bible studies and more! Our group is dedicated to showing appreciation and support for our local law enforcement through writing thank you cards, making posters, and assembling goodie bags. They will be delivered during the week by team leaders to Tulsa Police Department, Oklahoma High Patrol, Tulsa County Sheriff, and Rogers County Sheriff. Great project for families! This project is dedicated to supporting foster and adoptive families! As these families open their hearts and homes to children in need, we want to walk alongside them on this journey. We are partnering with the Legacy Family Network, an organization that provides essential support to children & parents in foster and adoptive homes. We are hosting a special event on the lawn at Oneighty from 10AM - 1 PM, inviting families from the network as well as our own COTM foster and adoptive families. Join us for a day filled with fun, food, and fellowship! This is a wonderful opportunity to connect with others, build relationships, and demonstrate the love of Jesus. Legacy School (6001 N Peoria Ave, Tulsa, OK 74126, USA,) is Tulsa's tuition free charter school. We will be serving the school by painting Legacy's hallways. We will brighten their hallways and help get the school ready for when the students come back from summer vacation. Bring your paint brushes and any gear you may need to paint the hallways at Legacy. We will provide the paint, tape, and drop cloths. 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM. 14 & older for this serve.

Our brave military members are deployed globally. Many experience intense isolation and spiritual exhaustion while far from home. As Christians, we are called to shine the light of Christ and uplift those who serve. Church on the Move West is coming together to send tangible reminders that these heroes are not forgotten by their country or their Creator. A simple letter can renew their strength and remind them of God's steadfast love.

For this project, we'll meet at COTM West. We will provide all paper, cards, envelopes, markers, and writing utensils, and provide instructions on what to write. This is open to all ages, and a great indoor opportunity for young kids or those who aren't physically able to work outside.

We are excited to support the Little Light House by hosting them and their families as they graduate dozens of amazing kids on Friday, July 10. Little Light House is designed to help children and families overcome limitations and grow in confidence. They have helped thousands of kids improve their speech, physical, perceptual, and sensory integration skills while providing education and support to the parents. We want to create a welcoming and loving atmosphere for the amazing staff and families who are connected to the Little Light House. Refuge Tulsa is returning as a Church on the Move Love Day site this year. Volunteers will be completing several key improvement projects to help secure and beautify the property:

• Privacy Fence Installation — Building a new privacy fence to secure the outdoor electrical and air conditioning equipment
• Door Removal & Replacement — Removing existing doors and repainting the openings
• Door Painting — Painting doors to refresh ands improve the appearance of the facility
• Install security lighting — add new motion activated security lights around key areas on the exterior of the building.

These improvements will enhance both the safety and appearance of Refuge Tulsa as they continue serving the Tulsa community through Christ-centered outreach, counseling, and family support programs.

For Love Day this year, we'll be hosting the guests of The Spring to a carnival. This is a very special onsite project to help organize hygiene and personal use items (*alcohol-free) being collected for at-risk women and children at Tulsa Women and Children's Center (TWCC) who are in recovery from substance abuse. Join us on Love Day and please bring any of the following items to organize and donate - Tree Hut brand lotions, shaving cream and body sprays (they do not contain alcohol), all sizes of women's panties, sports bras, socks, hair styling crunchies and clips, lilp gloss/chapstick, nail polish, journals, pens(black ink), gel pens, backpacks, shampoo and conditioner. These items will to help stock their shelves for months. These special women and children can always use a note of encouragement. At Palmer’s Tulsa Women and Children’s Center (TWWC) 711 S. Sheridan Rd. Tulsa, chemically dependent pregnant women and mothers receive comprehensive residential substance abuse treatment in a family-friendly environment. Women 18 years of age and above are invited to bring children under the age of 12 to live with them during treatment. Clients receive parenting education as well as addiction treatment services while children and toddlers participate in on-site childcare programming. We will be sorting, organizing, and cleaning donated items, cleaning the warehouse and store, or other helpful tasks. We will start at 9 AM. Ages 14 & Older are welcome!

Some of the most powerful ministry doesn’t require a microphone—just a pen, some paper, and a heart full of love. This Love Day, we’re gathering to create handwritten letters, cards, and encouraging artwork for the amazing residents of Broken Arrow’s assisted living homes. Many of these in Assisted Care Facilities face loneliness and isolation, but a simple note can light up a room—and a heart. We’re here to remind them: You are seen. You are remembered. You are loved. 📅 Date: Saturday, July 11th ⏰ Time: 9am 📍 Location: Church on the Move Broken Arrow - Lobby 🖍️ Who Can Participate? Everyone! Adults, kids, families, youth—if you can write, color, or smile, you can serve. What We’ll Be Doing: Writing personal, uplifting letters to residents by name when available Creating handmade cards and drawings filled with Scripture, color, and kindness Praying over each card, asking God to use it as a vessel of His love Assembling bundles of cards to be delivered to multiple assisted care facilities across Broken Arrow Why We Serve: Hebrews 10:24 reminds us to “consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds.” A single word of encouragement can bring warmth to a cold day and hope to a hurting heart. We serve because love never grows old. What to Bring: Pens, markers, crayons, stickers—whatever brings joy! Your kids, your small group, or your quiet time Scripture verses or favorite quotes that speak life Let’s fill the rooms of Seniors, Children, and those with Special Needs with light, beauty, and words that matter.

Feeding Hope for Families in Transition This Love Day, we’re partnering with the McKinney-Vento Program to fill their pantry shelves with essential groceries for families and children experiencing homelessness or housing instability in our community. These students are part of the Broken Arrow School District and are walking through some of life’s toughest seasons. With your help, we can make sure that every family has access to food, dignity, and hope. 📅 Donation Window: 9am - 12pm 📍 Location(s): Local Grocery Stores 🎯 Goal: Fill the pantry for the summer to help families in urgent transition 🙌 Who Can Give? Everyone! Individuals, families, small groups, and businesses Why We Serve: Proverbs 22:9 says, “The generous will themselves be blessed, for they share their food with the poor.” We don’t just give groceries—we give comfort, security, and a reminder to families that God sees them and so do we. 🛒 Let’s fill their pantry with more than food—let’s fill it with the love of Christ. Together, we can be a lifeline to families in our own backyard.
